The Cooke Anamorphic/i Full Frame Plus 1.8x series was designed specifically for large-format cameras such as the ARRI ALEXA Mini LF and Sony VENICE 2. Rather than using a traditional 2× squeeze, Cooke chose 1.8× anamorphic compression, which preserves more sensor area while still delivering classic anamorphic characteristics such as oval bokeh, horizontal flare, and expanded horizontal field of view.
