The P+S Technik TECHNOVISION 1.5X anamorphic primes feel like a reaction against the overly clean look of modern cinema lenses. They have character everywhere — soft edges, textured contrast, warm flares, and beautifully organic skin tones that take the harshness out of digital sensors.
The 1.5X squeeze is the sweet spot. You still get oval bokeh and classic anamorphic depth, but without the heavy distortion and awkwardness of 2X glass. On large-format cameras, they feel cinematic without trying too hard.
